"......Eeh its totally different when its some sort of set up thing...," Kotetsu hedged, playing it cool as he watched the crowd go by. He scratched at the edge of his finely trimmed beard in which he kept so much of his pride. "--and its not just for kids, you know. What do you mean you never had time for sports? What about, uh, clubs at school and things?"

"I never really got involved with extraneous activities at the Hero Academy," He thought back to it, falling quiet a moment. "Being involved with teams like that just didn't appeal to me." Quite the opposite, actually.
"Anyway, when I had time to spare it was usually spent finding or following up on leads. ...What's this?" He was looking at the blue prints for a course, with projected angels, speed, and degrees of error allowed to sink the ball within par.
"...If this game requires competency, how are you good it?"

His brow twitched, and he held the phone in front of him as he twitched at the picture of the pink bunny he'd tried to give Barnaby ages ago. "I'm pretty good at it anyway! Eh, maa," he hunched up his shoulders, shifting the bag over--it was a loud rustle through the phone, "If you've never done it before, maybe you should try to practice a little before hand. I suppose I could show some of my moves so you can impress your fans, huh?"

"Your moves?" Barnaby can hardly believe what he's hearing. "Is it common to develop techniques for mini golf or are you just that special?" He scoffs.
"Besides, when has your advice ever..." He trails off, reminding himself why Jake didn't succeed in destroying the entire city. He shifts in his seat uncomfortably, crossing his legs the other way as he switches his line. "Impressing the fans is your problem, not mine."

"Eh, ah, well," Kotetsu resisted the urge to scratch at the back of his head at the reminder about his continually lagging popularity, despite the fact there'd been a recent, and unexpected, sudden rise due to close Bunny association. "--There's nothing wrong with trying something out first, right? It's trickier than you'd think, and I've at least got more experience than you do!"

"Fine."
He surprised himself as he said it. "I suppose you can chose where, since you're the authority on the matter." Was it a problem, he wondered vaguely, that he didn't find that concept terrifying anymore?
"Go home and put your groceries away. Your milk is getting warm." Kotetsu usually went for groceries on Thursdays.

Bunny wasn't any more surprised than Kotetsu was, who took a moment to blink as his suggestion actually worked. Barnaby had such a tendency to say no to these things, except when there were cameras present... Heh. He brightened, teeth flashing in his smile. "I've got just the place in mind. I guess that means I can bring these over to your place, eh?"

"What's that supposed to mean? Drop off your groceries first so you don't forget them here like you did last time. And nothing on Sunday, Mr. Lloyds has us booked."
He reached for his small black schedule book, flipping through to look for open dates.

"But your apartment is so much closer," Kotetsu replied brightly, edging his way back into the flow of traffic in a severely better mood than he'd started with. He frowned a little as he gave way to a mother pushing her daughter's trolley along, muttering an excuse me, before getting back into the flow of traffic. "He's booked Sunday too?? Sunday is sacred!"

"You're being old fashioned again." Barnaby flips his tiny computer shut, putting it into sleep mode. "Besides, It's only sacred because it interrupts your drinking habits."
He glances at the time. "If you're coming over make it quick. I'm hanging up now."

"You better still be there when I show up! You're all the way across the city, honestly, who decides to live all by themselves in an apartment twenty stories up..." Kotetsu scolded, ducking around a young couple who seemed to have forgotten what they were doing. "Besides, an old man's drinking is a sacred ritual, you know--"

"...Now who's calling you old?" He criticizes. "And of course I'll be here, where else would I be?" Click.

As Kotetsu moves through the city, he can already begin to notice certain shops with booths set up outside, vendors hawking raffle tickets to the milling crowds. There's a sign up listing a few rules about the applicants as well as other details. It seems the proceeds from the event are going to charity.

"Its not like you have anything else to do...." Kotetsu muttered at the phone, clicking it off. "Sa, can't be helped."
The phone was tucked back into his pocket as he made his way down to the subway. Signs advertising "TIGER&BUNNY GRAND DATE RAFFLE" were everywhere suddenly, as if it were haunting him. He passed a cluster of excited high school girls squealing over getting to meet 'Barnaby-sama', and he snorted. Barnaby would be pulling his 'cool' routine the entire time, and it would drive him crazy to watch him strutting around like that.
He paused by one of the raffle stations, squinting at the rules. At least they could tell him what sort of person they were expecting.
