"Yes, that might work, try asking again." Barnaby retorted, yanking the brat closer easily with what was left of his Hundred Power and forcing the culprit's arms behind his back.
"Tiger, my power's just about out. You handle what's inside. ...Try not to break things..."

Dust parted as bodies hit the dirt, and this time Tiger had no time to dodge. The slower ball came for his face. "Oof!"
This time, he caught it with both hands. Even slowed, it pushed him back, dirt collecting under his heels. "Whoo, that's heavy," he commented lightly as he tossed it up in the air, then threw it to the side as he peered through the smoke. "Why do you and everyone else keep complaining about that, when you're being a hero there's no time to consider what's in your way!"
He started to jog off to the right, towards the building, snapping off a light salute with two fingers in Bunny's direction. "Ro~ger. Oye, Agnes, you sure there's only one more of them?"

"No," she replied, a little testily. "That'll be up to you to let us know and report back. And you'd better report back, Tiger!" she demanded, agitated still that they can't get the picture she wants.
"S-sounds like Wild Tiger's on his way inside the bank!" the announcer called out, snapped back to attention by a slap of Agnes's hand on his console. "Hopefully he can give us a better idea of what's going on in there!"

"Dammit." He slumped in Bunny's grasp once he accepted he couldn't twist out of the mans grip. Fine he could fine another way out of this for sure, eyes scanned for something he could use..something big would be nice. The dust was beginning to clear away, assisted by the damn hero TV's camera chopper....oh, that might be useful. Fucker inside better hurry the fuck up...

Bunny silently dragged the culprit away from the debris, where there was, no doubt, a crew of policemen standing by. He paused frowning. "Agnes-san... Make sure one of the policemen have rope, instead of handcuffs. It seems metal may be... problematic."
The blue faded from his eyes, and he tightened his grip for security, features terse.

On his own, Tiger's expression grew more serious, and with a bare thought he became a blur of motion. He touched the visor edge again, and scans criss-crossed the building. He had to grudgingly admit the suits were pretty great most of the time as he easily vaulted inside. If the one guy was a NEXT, they had no idea who this other one was, and he was on a timer. No time to play it nice as he tried to search silently for the hostage.

"Rope?" she repeated, nodding to one of her crew, who was in communications with the police. "Got it, Barnaby. Keep hold on him til Tiger gets back with the other one." Even as she says this she sounds unconvinced of herself. This IS Tiger they're talking about. Barnaby might have to go in after him, time limit or no. Where in HELL was everyone else?!
Within the bank, the hostages - there are several security guards scattered around, stuck to things - are in plain sight, but they're not easy to budge. And the object of Tiger's search doesn't seem to care whether or not they're saved. Tiger's sensors will eventually pick up a figure in the vault in the back, but by the time he does, Tiger himself will have already been located. He's a walking target, after all. Like some horrible sort of deja vu or karma, another set of volleyball-sized metal spheres are suddenly whizzing towards him, much faster and more accurately than the ones before, leaving very little time for reaction.

He made an attempt to reach his power out to the Hero TV chopper, but it was still a good distance from him and he was exhausted already, he may have to leave that for now. Dammit and again DAMMIT. He may not be struggling against Barnaby's grip anymore but his irritation shows in the small bits of metal swirling around them.

Stuck to things?? Tiger spotted the first guard and leapt over a fallen girder. "Wild Tiger is here to save you!" An easy bit of scramble and he was reaching up to try to pull him...off....or down... "Are you okay? What the heck is this... stuck.....--"
He was perfectly distracted for the two weapons heading at speed for his head.
The first one pings off his head with a loud clang, kicking it back and sending him reeling on on foot, and the second gets him right in the stomach and carries him flying back several feet. It knocks him to the ground with a startled OUF.
"Ow-ow-w-ow," he hisses, gingerly rolling over and trying to get to his feet. "More of them?! What is with all the flying spheres?!" Tense, he'll attempt to dive out of the way of any subsequent attacks. "Agneees, I think we've got a second metal-volleyball-NEXT."

Barnaby idly watches the bits of metal whir about them like an ugly snowglobe, keeping him check as Agnes as requested while waiting on Tiger.
He quickly discovered how unnatural it felt to do so. He didn't like waiting, he didn't like being a sitting duck without his powers or suit, and he certainly didn't like relying on Tiger left to his own devices.
"...You and your friend lose a bet?" He murmured, not one for small talk, but perhaps he could get information about the criminals left inside beyond the camera's reach.

"More?!" Agnes exclaims, her face darkening.
"Both criminals appear to be using some strange sort of metal balls to defend themselves," the announcer informs HeroTV's viewers as the information is relayed. "This seems to confirm that both are indeed NEXT. Barnaby has the first criminal apprehended--" With the concrete dust nearly cleared outside by now, the network's aircraft has lowered a little to get a good shot of the NEXT in Barnaby's grasp. His accumulated points for the apprehension appear on the screen. "--but Wild Tiger is still inside with the other. We're still waiting on more information..."
Inside, the second set of metal balls are still trained on Tiger, pummeling him as fast as they can swoop around to gain momentum. And while he's distracted, the robber takes off out of the vault, a huge bag full of cash in each fist and a another pair of bags floating eerily behind him. Freedom's near at hand, but he has no idea how his partner's doing on the other side. " " 'avin' a ball, Mr. Tigeh?" he calls out with a grin in the same accent of his partner as he begins to high-tail it out of the bank.
"Tiger!" Agnes called, bringing a hand to her headset. "Do what Barnaby did and drop your suit! The metal must be attracting them!" Her heart's pounding, watching the camera feed for signs of movement at the bank entrance.

He strained in Barnaby's grasp, trying to twist to see him. The little breather was doing him good and he felt out with his powers, testing his reach.
"Whaddya mean by that?"

The metal balls might be fast, but they got lucky the first time. He focuses this time, and scrambles as they swing back around, and leaps. He very narrowly misses getting struck, kicks off a wall, and begins to run like hell after the taunting. "Oi, so not only you steal from banks by why do your puns have to be so bad?"

"Can't imagine any other reason why you'd try to pull something so stupid with so few of you."
He glanced up as a policeman waved him over, rope in hand, and shook his head, gesturing for the cop to come closer instead. No need to get near those cars.
"Tie his arms while I hold him." He wasn't going to loosen his grip to tie it himself, but he watched carefully to make sure the rope was tied properly. He glanced around to try and keep check of any other potential magnetic hazards.

"Tha's the problem wit you Heroes, no sense a humor!" As he nears the entrance, just enough steps ahead of Tiger to at least get out of the bank uncaptured, he begins to sense something's wrong. His partner's not moving, or at least, he isn't fighting. Fuck. Christ. SHIT.
"There's a figure emerging from the bank!" The camera's zoomed in as far as it can go, steady as the aircraft remains aloft.
"Take her down more!" Agnes shouts, squinting at the screen. "Steady!"
"It looks like...the other criminal is making a break for it, cash in hand!"
"OI!" he calls out, hoping his partner's in earshot - and conscious. "Last stand, man!" The aircraft couldn't be a more obvious choice, really. It's coming closer and practically asking to be taken advantage of. And he knows his partner will have noticed, too.
