This makes things easier for the little blue, he's a little uneasy with D'nel, a dragon is better. T'rey He projects an image of his human and after a moments consideration the lower caverns where the rider is currently. Eat?

Coranth lifts his head with an irritable rumble, shifting a leg protectively in front of D'nel.
The little one is from that rider of Orsith. It is curious about eating in the lower caverns.
D'nel ran a calming hand over what of Coranth's side he could reach, considering it. His arm was swathed in bandages, but otherwise his body was fine. The headwoman had been warning him about shock, he recalled distantly, and staying warm and comfortable.
I can't lay around all day, Coranth. Its just my arm. Just like Orsith. I should get some food in me.
Food is good. Food is very good when things hurt Coranth reluctantly agrees, eyeing him closely. The little green woke with an irritable squawk, then spotted the blue in her cave.
She wasn't, exactly, a gold; but sometimes she had pretensions. She made an indignatn noise and launched after him, wings a futter.

The little blue squawks claws scrabbling on the floor as he struggles to get air before the green on up on him. If he'd known D'nel at all he might have sought protection from the rider but in this case he just winks out, gone to go scold his human over sending him on such an errand and soak in soothing strokes and peace offers of T'rey's meal.

Incredibly proud of chasing off the intruder, the little green coasts close to the floor in a lazy arc, beating her wings abruptly to lift up and land on D'nel's good shoulder. Coranth snorted, unamused, while D'nel chuckled and offered her a head scratch. "Be nice," he scolded, but his heart wasn't in it.
Coranth, he asked the blue gently, scratching lovingly between two tail ridges, Please ask Orsith if he will let T'rey know I will be down in a little bit.
The headwoman will not be happy Coranth considered, not so much concerned as matter of fact.
I will be very good. And while I eat, you can find yourself a large wherry to eat for being so brave yesterday when I was out of sorts. So very brave.
..........A very large one? Coranth asked whistfully.
Yes, a very large one he promised.
It was some time before he could make it down to the lower caverns, let along the food halls. He had to find an old shirt handed down to him to sew into a smaller size to fit over the bandages on his arm, unwilling to bear them like a war wound scar down into the caverns. His unruly flight must have made it all around the Weyr over night. His little green refused to leave him, and rode in style on his shoulder with her small claws sunk into the heavy cotton.
He looked a little worse for wear, but it was nice to be in the warm rooms, and he looked around for a fireside, or maybe a certain familiar face. He'd run into, already, a few people he knew exclaiming over his wound, and he smiled and reassured them he'd be fine.

Orsith had relayed the information and T'rey waited. He had a seat a bit out of the way and fairly near a hearth. D'nels jacket was on the seat next to him, in his irritation he had neglected to leave it with the healers. It was dry now at least and maybe he could just replace the sleeve of it. The blue firelizard on his shoulder spotted D'nel first, chattering uneasily at the presence of that green in the area.

His little green found them first. She chittered in D'nel's ear, wings half-lifted in warning. D'nel turned his head, shushing her with a soft run of his finger down her neck and projecting soft, calming thoughts.
She settled, reluctantly, as he wove through the tables and gingerly sat himself down across from T'rey. he liked the fire. Remembering his promise to Coranth to be good, he scooted closer to it, and leaned on his good elbow. "Hullo."
His smile was still bright.

"Hey." He lifts the jacket to push it across the table first thing. "This is yours. Salvageable I think. I would ask you how that is." and he tips his head o indicate D'nel's arm. "But from what I hear from Orsith about his, I imagine the answer is not great."
His little blue for the moment is putting on quite an act of completely ignoring the green's presence.

The green, after a moment, decides to the the same. A kind soul from the kitchens spots D'nel sitting down, and she smiles at him as she slides him a plate of steaming meat ends and a hunk of bread.
"Thanks," he tells her, with a smile, and she brightens with a mutter about it being no problem and slips off.
The green stirred, eyeing it, and he found a small piece to give to her without thinking too much about it. He chuckled.
"Orsith and I match now, don't we? Not what I expected this mor--mm, no, yesterday isn't it."

"Yesterday." he frowned. He had spoken to his wingleader immediately after fall and was assured the greenrider would not go unpunished for the mistake...but that it was up to the green's wingleader or the Weyrleader, not him. T'rey had to be satisfied with that. "Did your jacket block the burn atleast?"
His blue eyed up D'nel's meal as well but quickly snapped back to ignoring the man and his green as a whole while T'rey reached up to soothe him.

D'nel prodded at the edge of his meat absently. The green was lazing on his shoulder, eyeing it and ignoring the blue completely.
"...Most of it, thank goodness." It was something he'd said a lot already on the way to the lower caverns. It sounded energetic, but rehearsed by now. "By the time it made sense, Coranth was Between. Luckily it also got most of the clump of thread, but some grazed my arm and had time to burrow before we went Between. Nothing serious. Just a bit of hurt!"
He ended with a grin, doing his best to seem perky. A bit of hurt was really a whole lot of pain.

He did his best not to look disgusted at the burrowing part. "Thread is no little hurt. You had someone look at it before you came here?" It was really less of a question, more of an expectation, he better have had someone check it and numb it up.

D'nel is holding on to that smile for all he's worth. "Well, I made sure there was more on this morning."

T'rey studied his face a moment seriously. Then moved his attention back to what was left of his own meal, slipping a bit to his blue here and there. "You'll see a healer when you're done here. Now eat already...you'll heal better for it."

"I'm eating!" D'nel protested, shoving some of the meat in his mouth. He lifted his brows, and took a moment to swallow. "I know, I know. .... Thank you. For coming. I'm not sure why Coranth looked for you, but I am glad he did."

He shrugged, not making a big thing of it. "You were with me recently beforehand, and I wasn't busy with the fall? The was a nice maneuver he pulled to get you in the water by the way, very slick."
