When D'nel appears above Eastern Weyr the bronze dragon on the heights will inform Coranth that the headwoman and healers await him on the west side of the bowl. They will want to check his wound and place him in weyr so he's not to go wandering until they do!

Coranth relates all this as he catches his wind, banking on a warm updraft. D'nel has him respond in the affirmative, and Coranth slips from the updraft into a sweeping glide that takes them across the bowl along the center, where they'll not be in anyone's way angling for their personal weyrs or to take off from a ledge. His wings break on the air precisely--showing off a little--and he drops heavily about two dragon lengths away from where he'd spotted some people from the air.
D'nel straightened up, reaching up to push his goggles back and blink in the strong sunlight. His northern-continent weyr leathers were opressively hot here on the ground, and he dragged some of the toggles open before unhooking himself from the flight leathers.
He swung down carefully, Coranth helping by proviing his elbow as a step-stool. Normally he didn't need it, but it was worth being careful. He smiled as he hit the ground, approaching the welcoming party.

The headwoman was on him in an instant, closely followed by a pair of healers, helping him out of his flying gear and checking his arm to make sure it took no harm from the trip between. The headwoman was fussy but kind.
She'll find him a rider to show him around and lead him to his weyr, does he know anyone here? She can get them to come if he does. If he hungry? Oh what time is it in Igen now, have you eaten dear? Do you need clothes that won't be so warm on you?

D'nel put up with it with good humour, thanking her gently and standing still underneath a flurry of hands. It was a little awkward having so many people strip him down out of his flight gear, amusing Coranth with his awkwardness.
He turned to Coranth in the end, reaching up a hand. Coranth rested the bottom of his chin in his palm for a scratch. "I think they fattened me up just to leave a good impression before I left." He grinned, reaching up to drag his goggles down. "Thank you for the kind offer, but I have clothes for the South packed with me. Ah, but." He remembered T'rey's offer suddenly, and turned back to them with a glint to his eye. "A wingsecond mentioned I should look up his brother..... T'lyle, rider to brown Cryth."

She seemed surprised by the rider named at first. " Well...if you're to have someone to show you around, he'll be the right one! I'll just fetch him for you." She strides away and it's only a few minutes before a brown drops from his weyr and glides along the bowl to land close to Coranth. The Rider that slides down is definitely of finer build then T'rey, besides being younger his face is naturally softer in shape, his hair seems to be the same color if longer and wavy. The eyes are the same. He's smile in an amused way when he steps closer. "Hello. It's D'nel isn't it? I hear I've been recommended to you by a wingsecond at Igen. Now while I know at least three of those, I'll take a wild guess that it was T'rey."

D'nel could not tell if the surprise was a good, or bad sign, and decided it fit with what little he knew of T'lyle from T'rey (which was not much). Coranth, nearly as large as the brown, settled in a sit at D'nel's back as his rider approached the new comer.
He smiled, a little bit of a grin. "Well, considering he's your brother, that's not too much surprise." He offered his good hand, his right. In that, he'd been lucky. "I hope I'm not putting you out."

He took D'nel's hand for a short strong shake. His smile was different from T'rey's, thin and insincere. Not exactly bad but not genuine. "No, of course not. I am at your service, and Cryth at-"a very brief pause while his dragon supplies the name he needs. "-Coranths, should he want to know where to find food or a bath. Now then." He pressed his hands together, I think first things first now that the healers have gotten to paw at you." He doesn't make any attempt to hide giving D'nel a looking over. "We'll get you settled in your temporary quarters." There's another pause will Cryth supplies that information as well, before T'lyle turned to lead the way.

D'nel didn't seem to mind the once over, just reminded about the event into a wry smile as he patted his injured arm gently. "Pleasure to meet you. Thank you."
He started in to follow, Coranth politely thanking Cryth and stretching out his wings as he thought about where he would take himself and his baggage. In one of those bags was his little green, probably still asleep, and not yet venturing out to try to take control of her little territory at the Weyr. "Which wing do you belong to?"

"Fourth wing, under R'dan and Oonath." He stops suddenly, remembering something and turning on a heel. "should I carry something up for you? It won't be far, they'll have you on a lower level since you're injured."

Coranth had, intrigued, been following them, and tilted his head to the side far above D'nel's shoulder.
"Carry....oh, no, I'm fine." D'nel waved off the concern with a smile, his jacket still under his arm and his goggles loose around his neck. His streak of hair was a dirty blonde mess, draping in his eyes. "Between me and Coranth, we'll be fine. You aren't expecting fall for a few days yet, right?"

Cryth spoke to Coranth then, giving the blue a visual of the weyr their to stay in. He had a soft and gentle voice. "You can go their now if you like, it has stairs inside so your boy will be able to walk there. T'lyle will show him."
"If you say so, just don't want our healers to chew me out for it later. That's right. Fall's still a few days off here" His head tips a little now, smile curling at one side. "Why?"

D'nel had said it out of drifting habit. He knew all the charts by heart, after all, and had made sure to come in a decent gap. "Just making sure." He smiled, turning to glance at Coranth.
A moment of their eyes meeting, and the blue lazily shook himself out and launched upward to coast to their temporary home.
D'nel turned his attention back to T'lyle, curious about the differences from the wing-second he'd only met a few times. "Wouldn't be very good to show up when you have enough to worry about."

He turns again to continue on. "Oh, thread or not we always have plenty of something to worry about around here. Thread however is not something you'll have to worry about during your stay. Hope your not bored easily. They're not going to let you do much those healers." He points basic things out as they move along in case D'nel should have to find them later but it's not long to his weyr, just two flights of stairs up from the kitchen.

"A lot of trouble lately?" D'nel asks, either deciding to ignore the potential digs or too good natured to notice. He took note of the passing spaces, eventually just giving up and laying his jacket over his shoulders rather than carry it the whole way.
He smiled a little. "And don't worry. I'm well acquainted with the sort. I'm sure to find some way to find something to do."

"Nothing particular, just always...something. Here we are. " He lead D'nel into a weyr that was maybe a bit small, but that's why it was temporary housing after all. "Well, if you're good maybe those healers'll let you go to the gather. I'm assuming you'll be around long enough to make it, in a week and a half."
