"B-Bunny!" Kotetsu swallowed his laughter, but it still rumbled a bit in his chest as he shot up to his feet and after Barnaby's stiff back. "Bunny, I'm not, come ba~ack."
He tried to duck ahead of him. "C'mon, its just supposed to be fun. Everyone sucks at minigolf when they start. Are you just going to give up?"

"It's not fun and the cacophony of your laughter is giving me a headache!" He pauses briefly as Kotetsu steps in his way. "I'll just come back another time by myself!"
He uses his free arm to push him aside.

Kotetsu catches the arm Bunny uses to push him aside, fingers curling along the line of the limb. "Hey, hey, it's not all that bad. Its just until you get the hang of it. Even you can be bad at something until you practice it, and its no fun to be here by yourself~"
The last one was more of a needle for his own benefit.

"Its no fun with company either..."
...Then again, he really didn't want to walk the way back through the Love Hotel district alone. Wait, wouldn't it be better alone than...? Aug. Not thinking about it.
Kotetsu was doing that little whiny thing that meant he cared more than he should. He sighed. "Fine. Let's try again."

Kotetsu brightened up, grinning a bit in relief. "No point in giving up now, right? You'll have the hang of it this time." He backed up a step, another, as if wary of Bunny changing his mind, and then much more calmly took them back to the green.
"Just stop worrying so much about it and just hit it. You let the putter do the work, like this." He mimed it for him, complete with small sound effect for hitting the ball. There did seem to be a certain trick to how he swung...

It was the sound effect that did it.
Barnaby was still agitated as they returned to the green, but it was with great effort the he repressed a smile.
He tried holding the club a bit differently, and took his time eyeing the distance. It helped, a bit, and with two taps it was in the hole.

Kotetsu made it on his next shot, but without all of the failures with plants and water, it wouldn't have been too different between them in the end.
While Bunny aimed up his shots a little different, Kotetsu nodded with one hand under his chin. "Hm, hm, just like that." He approved, leaning down to swipe the ball out of the hole and lightly toss it to Barnaby. "Alright, lets try the next one."
The next one was just enough harder, with some of the trick hole levels that sometimes spit the ball out at the end. Even Kotetsu had a little trouble with it, and he kept making small, guiding comments of various levels of helpfulness.

Barnaby didn't like the holes getting more complicated when he still wasn't accustomed to the simple ones.
"...How are you holding it?" Barnaby studied him more, and eyed up the angles. He wasn't as good as Tiger, but he was undoubtedly getting better at it.
He got the ball vaguely in the right direction with the first hit.

Kotetsu paused, brows lifting a little at the question.
Bunny had actually asked him?
A little shiver of pleased made him straighten up a little, a silly edge to his smile as he coughed and considered his club. "Hrm, hah, yes." He demonstrated, his hands set a certain way on the handle. His legs were loose, but straight, and he made an experimental little swing. "Just like that."

Barnaby was copying the basic body language right, shoulders, feet- but he was entirely too tense, and just like with martial arts, that made everything work incorrectly. His hands had a tendency to slide lower than they should be on the club's handle.
Still, with a little luck, he made it in three swings this time.

Kotetsu still had a pretty impressive lead, but at this rate it might not last for too long. He didn't really care much about it anymore, and he'd stopped keeping track right around that last hole, because the rare situation of actually teaching Bunny something new was so novel he kept being more pleased by that then being able to show him up for once.
They collected their balls and headed into the next hole, which involved starting a short way inside a 'island grotto', aka a bunch of green set inside a running waterfall with a small pool water trap off to the right. Tiger was stroking his chin, considering the angle of the club in Bunny's hands as they stepped inside. "You're still missing something about it," he mused, tapping his club against the sharp edge of his shoe.

"..." Bunny gave him a flat stare, under the slightly blue light of the mini golf cave. "That was least useful piece of advice I've ever heard."
He hadn't been keeping track of the score in the first place- with how poorly he'd been doing, there didn't seem to be a point to it other than forming a permanent grudge against water traps. And plants. And rocks. And hills. And that stupid little lip on the edge of a hole the ball swerved around sometimes...
"What? What am I missing?"

"Its sort of like a," Kotetsu visibly groped for words, making a small rounded hand motion. "A, whatchacallit, like."
Clearly showing him wasn't exactly working so far, and Bunny didn't seem to quite be getting it. He came up next to him, demonstrating in the air the proper grip. "More like this." He said, glancing to the side at Bunny as he stood next to him.,\

Bunny's brows wilted slightly, expecting something that made a bit more, what was the word sense? He ran a hand back over his hair. Yes, sense would be nice.
"That's what I've been doing." He holds up the club similarly and does what he perceives to be the same thing. The odd tint to the lighting somehow seemed to exaggerate the differences in skintone on their hands.
"There. See?"

"Nah, no," Kotetsu straightens up, struggling for words. "Like...here, let me..." He doesn't set so much as toss with aim the club in his hands to one side, and suddenly he's a little more than next to Barnaby. No, that's really close, as he reaches around him. Their cheeks end up close together as he sets his hands over Barnaby's.
His hands are calloused from years of fighting without their suit's gloves, warm and sure as he shifted Barnaby's grip down a little. "Relax!" He tapped Barnaby's foot a little to make it shift. "More like that."
