Barnaby's nose scrunched at the sudden burst of laughter, glancing at him hotly and perching the club on his shoulder again. "Is it that funny, really-!" He's cut off as Tiger leaps after the ball, blinking.
"...Oh." Really? No safety nets or anything? He accepts the ball back but narrows his eyes at the sour look. "So? Paying for another isn't a problem, so don't act like I forced you to do me a favor. It's not my fault these places are money traps!"
The other man had successfully gotten Barnaby to raise his bristly side.

"But you don't let it just go like that." He unfolded back to his feet to hand the golf ball over, planting the end of his golf club on the green like a gentleman's cane and gestured to the green. "Besides, you loose a swing. Gonna let me win that easy, huh?"

"I didn't realize you were allowed to just grab it, or I would have," He snaps under his breath. "I wasn't trying to get it in the water, obviously. ...Is your pride really so low that for all you're supposed skill you're going to boast about being better against someone's first time?
He sets the ball down, swings the club a bit awkwardly but with more force from his frustration...and although the landing position sucked, it did make it over the river, this time.

Kotetsu straightened, brow twitching. "No, but--aah, yosh, that's more like it!" He wandered on to the green, stepping over the stream with a grin as it makes it over. "Now we just keep taking turns until one of use gets it in. I'm just saying, its not as easy as it looked, eh?"
He let the club drop between his hands, resting next to the ball, and eyed it--a gentle tap, and it rolled in with a satisfying clunk. "Just like that."

"I should have gone by myself," He muttered, walked past him over the green and waiting as Kotetsu sunk his ball.
"So when else are you allowed to pick it up? I thought that was one of the sacred rules of golfing, not to touch it." Tap.
...Too far.
Twitch.

Kotetsu fished his ball out of the cup, stepping up on to some of the edging stones to watch with the club tucked under his elbow. "Mm, whenever you hit it into water. Or into the wrong course. Or you get stuck." He counted it off on his fingers, consider it.
He couldn't help grinning a little at seeing Bunny be bad at something, if only briefly. Made him human again. "Or when you want to hit something because you keep getting stuck and the other person agrees."

"...This is stupid." He decided, moving again.
Tap.
Not far enough.
Frustrated Tap.
Too far.
Tap.
Finally! The ball fell gently into the embedded cup and Barnaby let out a small breath of relief. He snagged it. "Let's move on." He spoke sharply, clearly not pleased.

Kotetsu had out the score sheet and was dutifully checking off their swings. WT, 2. B, 5.
He usually forgot about halfway through to even keep track but it was easier to do that to hide the urge to grin at the look on Bunny's face. Poor guy. He nudged him as he swung by him, following the patch to the next hole. "Everyone's a little bad at it at first."

"That smile across your stupid face makes it worse."
He follows the path onto the next hole and waits, tapping his foot irritably, for Tiger to finish his turn.

"Ehh? What about my stupid face?" He dropped the ball with an oustanding clunk, brow twitching. "If you just ask you know I'd help you," he muttered. Even distracted like that, he huffed and managed to punt the ball over to the side. There were three holes in the green, and after a moment's thought, he aimed for the right one; it put him within a reasonable distance of the other hole.
He found a piece of scenery to sit on, arms crossed.

"Knowing your track record that would make things worse." Somehow. He had done poorly enough on the first hole he wasn't sure how it could get worse.
"..."
Tap.
Well. It didn't get stuck in anything this time. But it was no where near any of the three holes. He glanced tersely at Kotetsu to see if he was laughing again.

Kotetsu had perched himself, chin set in both hands to watch Bunny make another attempt at his first swing. He lifted his eyebrows at him as Bunny looked over, this time at least not snickering at him. "Ma ma, go again," he flicked his fingers at him. "You're almost there, I can swing after you."

He hit it with a bit more force this time.
...It bounced over the lip of the green and got stuck in a plant.
"..."

Kotetsu tried. He really did. His eyes went wide and his mouth clamped shut, the edge of his mouth twitching a little.
It was just too good, though; he snorted, cracked, and started laughing with one hand over his face in a vague attempt to stifle his laughter and really not doing very well at it at all. Whatsoever.

Barnaby didn't respond at first, just balling his hand into a fist.
Then he adjusted his glasses.
Then he drew up his shoulders like hackles as they began to shake with repressed frustration like the ominous rumbles of a tall, blond volcano.
And then, oh yes, he snapped.
"I quit! It was a mistake ever saying a word to you! You just wanted come along to laugh. If you enjoy this game so much, finish on your own, and go home and brag to your worn out couch about how you won! Because its the only thing that wants to hear it!"
He turned on a dime and began to stride, briskly, towards the exit.
