D'nel shakes his head, shaggy strip of hair falling into his eyes as the humor warms his grin. "It seems you've had plenty of practice.... T'rey, anything you were looking forward to today?" His attention shifts smoothly, grin still warm.

He tries to avoid giving his brother another look, but his fire-lizard certainly does.It doesn't understand why but it knows T'lyle is the source of some distress. "I didn't have my mind set on anything in particular, but I would like a look around. Did you get everything you were after?"

"I like to see where the night takes me." He glances behind him, at the rows of stalls, hands slipped back into his pockets. His little green seems mollified, tail sweeping back and forth lazily against D'nel's shoulder. "Igen needs to stick together, right? Let's take a look around."

He smiles "You don't have to since you've already been around. but I'd appreciate the company since I'm sure T'lyle here has things to do..."
T'lyle give his brother a sly look, but then again most of his looks are sly. " I do in fact, the gather is young but I have a few rounds to make before dinner and dancing begins. Have fun Igen riders. Another smile for D'nel before he backs off to disappear into the crowds and most probably find some green riders to...get in trouble with.

D'nel's brows lift up, surprised at T'lyle is off but...oh well, that did seem to be the type of guy he was. Amused, he sets back on his heels. "I don't mind, it's all different once the evening hits."
He returns the smile from T'lyle. "Well then, don't get caught!" he wishes as the younger leaves them. He glances to T'rey, the edge of his mouth curled up. "You're bother likes to think he's trouble, but he's been very nice."

T'rey looks after his disappearing brother before starting towards the stalls. He doesn't know that he'll even find anything he might want but it couldn't hurt to look. "He's not bad but I think..he likes to think he is. He's just into everything." His blue also looked after T'lyle but once the brown rider was out of sight his attention turned back to D'nel's green. No longer threatening but...keeping an eye on her.

"He definitely wants to be into everything," D'nel agrees, with warm humour, and smacks T'rey's elbow lightly in passing to turn them back down the rows of stalls. "C'mon, let's take a look. They had some nice leather earlier for a good deal, thinking about patching my jacket."
The green was currently ignornig the blue entirely, dozing on D'nel's shoulder.

He might have felt just a little bad about sending his brother away at the time, but not anymore. The one on one time is...nice. "Oh, a good idea, much easier than replacing the whole sleeve and you'll need that jacket again soon."
The blue is not happy with being ignored, a bit sulky actually. He chirps questioningly to see if she's really sleeping.

Her tail sweeps back sharply, one luminescent eye slitting open to stare at the blue.
D'nel grinned, tilting his head a bit to one side and brushing his locks of hair back over to flop on the other side of his head. The rest was fuzzy, a little long itself--he was due for a cut soon, but it was soft and looked very tempting to run hands through. "No kidding. No need to waste anything, right? And its not like it'll matter if the leather doesn't match. Anything you are looking for?"

The blue looks away immediately , pretending interest in...something else...somewhere. "Maybe...I might just pick up a little thing or two for people at home, I can't say I really need anything in particular myself." He scans the stalls as they walk keeping eye out for the tanners stall and taking note of anything interesting at others.

D'nel, already having scoured earlier in the heat of the day, enjoyed walking next to the Wing Second and people watching. He'd dressed lightly for the occasion, and for the day time, his shirt a pale soft cream that went to his elbows to hide the bulk of his injury, the collar open at his throat. "Oh? Who would those be?" he asked, interest suddenly piqued perhaps a little more than usual.
His green was preening, ignoring the blue again. Or mostly ignoring--she had to keep track of whether or not he was knowing she was ignoring him.

Well! The little blue is only paying enough attention to see if she is aware that he is not even paying attention to the fact that she's ignoring him! So there.
T'rey is maybe a little reluctant to share but it was a direct question and it would only bite him later to avoid it. He pauses to examine a small belt knife. "I've got a boy." Then he can't help but smile a bit. "And a very little girl."

D'nel's silence is the rush of reactions--a sudden disappointment, oh, he has a boy--but then suddenly confusion and then a smile as it all makes sense.
Not that kind of boy. A kid, okay, alright. He didn't expect it, but still. "Oh! I didn't know. They're both still in Igen?"

He looks over uneasily when D'nel seems to need a moment, but he's smiling that's good. He nods."They are. You've probably seen Tenbek in you're healer hoard at Igen. He fancies he'll be a dragon healer and helps them out whenever he's allowed."

"Oh!" The name rings a bell. Now that he's thinking about it, he can see it--more in T'lyle, being younger, than T'rey, but the close look he gives T'rey's face says as much that the connection becomes suddenly clear. "Oh, yeah. He's a little busybody, good worker."
